Such a fun activity for the students. It really helped their synthetic division skills and was fun because the remainders could be negative. So fun!!

Students loved combining games with math. Worked well as an in class review

My students really enjoyed this activity in the classroom. Some pairs were more competitive than others and some worked almost every problem to sink all the battleships. The best part was the understanding of the synthetic division process that was remembered as we used it again during the year.

My students enjoyed mixing a game they know well with math practice prior to an assessment. I enjoyed that I didn't hear as much complaining as usual while my students reviewed. Thank you for the engaging activity!
