Students needed a minute to figure out which side do they mark for their own battleships verses their opponent. Once they had the game figured out. The practice was great! My students begged for more.

I love the battle ship activities as a way to review concepts. Since my students have learning difficulties, I normally have them group up against the me (my classes are smaller, ESE/EBD classes). It works better to have them all on one side and they work together to solve the problems without my help because they don't want me to win.
