The kiddos really enjoyed playing this game while getting the extra practice in solving one step equations
Great resource to support student understanding of one-step equations!
My students love to work with partners and what a fun way to practice their math skills.
My students absolutely loved this activity! Anything that turns math into a game is a great way to keep the students engaged while still learning. I teach students with learning difficulties and we often use multisensory approaches to aid their learning. In this game I had them read the entire question and answer aloud to their opponent once they solved it. This way, they could hear it spoken to help them determine if their answer made sense (they wrote it to solve, read it to check it, said it to check it again). The class I used this with has already asked if we'll do this again with other topics.
Perfect review for students! Fun and engaging for reluctant learners.
