This was a great way to have students look at linear equations and tie it to their real-world experience. I had students choose 3 to complete and then they graphed their equation/table on Desmos to have an additional technology component that they use in our state (OH).

Great mini project for linear Equations .
I simply loved this resource. It was easy to differentiate for my students. My students found it very interesting and engaging as they do a little research to choose a car or a city to travel city to travel. We made a poster /brochure as an end product !So much fun .

I am always trying to create or find projects where each students' project will be different than every other students in the class because it is more authentic this way. And of course, I want it to be applicable in the real world! This is not always easy to make because if every student’s project is different, or even has an unlimited number of solutions, checking each one is extremely difficult and time-consuming for the teacher. Well, guess what?!...these projects are authentic.
